The laser light specifically targets the darker pigments in hair roots, effectively disabling their blood supply. This process prevents the hairs from regrowing. For the laser treatment to succeed, it's crucial to target hairs during the anagen phase, also known as the growth phase. Since hair growth rates vary, we typically recommend starting with a course of six treatments. This approach ensures that we effectively target all hair growth stages. The treatment is virtually pain-free and involves minimal downtime, making it a convenient option for most clients.
Q. Is it painful?
A. Minimal, you will experience minimal discomfort which will subside as you progress through your treatment plan. This is because we also combine it with cryogenic-cooling system to reduce pain.
Q. What aftercare do I have to follow after having my treatment?
A. You will need to avoid Sun exposure for at least 2-4 weeks following your treatment and ensure you are always wearing SPF to minimise the unwanted side effects of potential hyper-pigmentation.
